The Open Standard
At RateMyBody, we don't believe in strict dress codes. Whether you are showing off a new outfit, gym progress, or just a vibe, we want you to feel comfortable sharing it. Unlike other platforms, we don't automatically block photos based on how much skin is showing.
✨ Street & Lifestyle
- Everything from hoodies to crop tops and low-rise styles.
- Ripped jeans, festival wear, and creative outfits.
- Cosplay and themed costumes.
🔥 Fitness & Body
- Shirtless photos for guys to show gym progress.
- Sports bras, leggings, and tight athletic gear.
- Underwear & Swimwear: Boxers, briefs, and bikinis are fine. We trust you to keep the vibe respectful.
Where we draw the line
Because you are under 18, we have to balance freedom with safety. While we don't block garments (like underwear), we do look at the intent of the photo.
🚫 Not Allowed
- Sexual Content: Any photo intended to be "adult" or sexually suggestive will be removed. Keep the poses natural.
- Full Nudity: This is a hard limit. Photos must have some form of coverage.
- See-Through Fabric: If the clothing is completely transparent, it’s a no-go for users under 18.
- Vulnerability: Avoid photos where you look distressed or in a compromising position.
🔒 A Note on Privacy
Even if you are comfortable showing skin, be smart about your surroundings. Avoid photos where we can see your school, your street, or your full name. Your safety is more important than a rating.
How Moderation Works
When you upload a photo in underwear or swimwear, it might be flagged for a Quick Human Check. This isn't a ban—it just means one of our team members looks at it to make sure it’s a standard "progress" or "style" shot and not something weird.
If your photo is rejected, we will usually tell you exactly why so you can adjust and try again!
